Incase anyone wanted an update on my quest for a decent digital paint setup: I returned my Imac, (My old tablet was too small for a massive 27 in screen, so instead of getting a bigger tablet I realized I could just get a cintiq and a cheaper PC for not too much more. Little did I know they are really hard to find, but after much searching I got a hold of a refurbished cintiq 21ux! Man it is nice, I did this little doodle this evening, after 8 hours of work, and 3 hours of a maquette class, lots of art today! The class is taught by ILM model shop veteran Richard miller, It's been really fun I'll be posting my maquette in a few weeks which is actually the older version of this little guy.

Ha ha, that's an interesting response. I just use my tiny tablet with mouse mapping. I'd even do that with a huge tablet though... I don't know why but I can't deal with that pen mapping. Makes me crazy.
Anyway, glad you got a sweet set up though! Hope it treats you well.
